A
t the end of the closing ceremony everyone relaxed
together on the banks of the river. The King and Queen ran
and jumped. The birds dipped and soared. The snails went
slow, ensuring they got a chance to stop by every single
animal who had competed to congratulate them.
And the rabbits, who had learned they were not shaped for
swimming but for hopping, bounced around the countryside,
delighting in the early evening sun.
